Struggling To Start That Business? - Fear - Perfectionism - Analysis Paralysis
Afraid to start a YouTube Channel, blog, or online business? Let's talk! Notes: Stuck between two YouTube channels, and making excuses! I have a problem, and I need your help. I don't know if you know this or not, but I haven't filmed conistent youtube videos for several months. There are exactly 106 unpublished videos from back in Janraury that haven't even been turned public yet. Sure I shoot the occasional question and answer video that gets uploaded same day, but the majority of longer videos are 6 months old the day they're published. I'm underwater here, still, and am not doing any better. So here's what I've been restling with the past few months... Should I break out the content into it's own sauna channel, money and blogging channel, and a third for business? This was never the plan, and my fear is that I'll spread myself too thin. My other fear, is that if one day I publish a bunch of sauna reviews and detox stuff, then the next day I drop 3 videos on investing and how to make $100k a year from a blog and tax writeoffs, I'll alienate half the people, or drive the other half nuts from being all over the place. The reason I struggle with this so much, is that this was never the plan for Clever Leverage. Neither the blog, nor the youtube channel. It was always supposed to be about money, business, building online publishing companies, and taxes. Only when my health gave me trouble, did I bring in the lifestyle things. -------------- 97.8% of all my views are NOT Subscribed 1.9% from subscribers --------------- 8.7 million impressions this year - so whether or not I'm doing a good job with thumbnails and the videos is irrelevant, the traffic is there, despite me having a tiny little channel --------------- 69.6% male 30.4% female viewership That doesn't help me, this type of content could go either way... it all comes down to is it helpful or not. 71.2% of audience is 25 - 64 yrs old --------------- So when it's time for the rubber to meet the road, does it even really matter to you the subscribers what content I put out? The other problem is, under the surface, I'm really just asking for permission to execute. The reality is, I have to be the leader on this, and most people wouldn't be able to tell me what's best for the direction of the master vision. But I'm struggling. I'm making excuses. I'm allowing things to get in the way. With my mackground and experience, not a lot of people can compete with me if I'm all in 100%... yet, I'm still getting in my own way. What I mean by that, is the ability is here to publish 15-20 videos a day to play catch up. The team is in place to handle it, yet here I am. But I also thought sharing this would humanize things a bit too, because for some reason people I talk to don't think seasoned online publishers struggle with the same things they have a hard time with as beginners. Couldn't be farther from the truth. So, bottom line: I'm overthinking this, have used this as an excuse for the last several months, and just want your feedback so I can give myself permission to bringing the fire. Truth be told, I've never really tried on YouTube before. I'm both excited and afraid of what I could accomplish if I gave it hell for a year of two. My gut already knows the answer to this, I'm just stuck in an analysis paralysis trap, even though deep down the answer is it doesn't matter. Both ways will work, taking imperfect action is the real answer. It's the only thing that got me to this point when I started all this back in 2016. Sauna Companies Have Turned Customers Into Research Slaves
Sauna Companies Have Turned Customers Into Research Slaves Gone are the days when selecting a sauna was simple and easy Sauna companies regularly portray their saunas as having the "missing ingredient" compared to competitors You'd be amazed at some of the questions I get Crazy things that people shouldn't even be concerned with. Yet, sauna companies don't have a leg to stand on, so they focus is on one particular aspect that they "think" is a differentiator Let's take the micron range for instance... I've been getting the weirdest questions from folks about heater panel micron ranges. They're phrased in such a way, that I can tell from the get go someone planted a seed of doubt in their mind about such a minute detail, that is a total falacy in a real world saun session. For instance, if you tell someone that my heaters in "Matt's Saunas" has a 7.4 micron range, and a competitor like "John's Saunas" is at 7.2, there's in inferior and you should buy mine because that's the resonant frequency the body responds to most. I read this stuff, and think to myself... "you've got to be fucking kidding me." Remember when I said, some are acting like they've fallen in a hole of a frozen pond, scratching at the ice to get out? It's because they have... reaching for anything and everything to convince anyone of anything. There are a handful of sauna companies touting a set mircon range, and if you don't have it, you won't get the benefits from other saunas. The thing they're not telling you, is that micron range changes with temperature. So if you you're telling someone that your sauna only has ONE micron range, you're also saying that your sauna only operates at ONE temperature. Obviously not true right, but consumers will never know that. It's this kind of bullshit that various companies use to confuse and disorient potential customers, only to try and stop them from buying someone elses sauna. Now, if they just focused on helping people pick the best sauna for their needs, they would actually have better sales, repuation, and brand awareness. Also, the majority of sauna companies do not focus on improving their product when it is subpar compared to the marketplace. Just look at any of the saunas for sale on Amazon... they haven't changed in the last three years. They're literally identical. Some pop up under new names after they can't overcome bad reviews, but it's the exact same product. The only thing that changes is the marketing message, and barrage of new commentary about some new focal point they think will persuade you. Now they had plenty of time to revamp their saunas, and actually make them better. Had they done that, they wouldn't need a new marketing message, and they wouldn't be acting like a person that fell into a frozen pond, digging their nails into the ice to try and get out. Just something I thought of today that I thought my be good food for thought while I get caught up on all your questions. Just as a reference point, there will be a lot of videos coming out that were filmed several months ago. I even have some from January that still need to be uploaded. For reference, today is August 15th, I just flew back to Orlando last night, so there will be new and old stuff mixed in this week. https://youtu.be/8a4FLTuwgRA

Therasauna VS Therasauna Classic (Made In U.S.A)
Therasauna VS Therasauna Classic, one is made in the USA, one is not. Let's clarify it while Therasauna threatens to sue me over it. https://youtu.be/hAkIdFgjVjY
Therasauna Is Threatening To Sue Me Over Infrared Sauna Reviews (not) Made In The U.S.A. ?
Therasauna is threatening to sue me over infrared sauna reviews of their Therasauna and Therasauna Classic. Apparently there is some monumental difference between the two saunas, but the comparison sheet sent over by Therasauna themselves shows confusing comparisons about the nature of "Made In USA." At the end of the day, you guys are free to choose to buy whatever sauna you want. I'm not sure how I feel about a company that sues it's past customers in order to sensor their opinion. All in all, my experience with the Therasauna model I bought, wasn't good. This is reflected in all my reviews and opinions about the product, and is accurate and honest. Proof is in the prior videos showing me having to use a sawzall to get the sauna to go together... since the pieces weren't cut right from the factory. I did get it together, but the sauna still did not perform well once I did. Hissing in the stereo, lights flickering right our of the box, etc... I ended up sending it back, and in my highly opinionated review of the Therasauna, I clearly said the product was not made in the USA. I purchased a Therasauna Classic. QCA Spas claims the "Therasauna" is a different product, and that I need to stop mentioning it. Only problem is, you can't say "Therasauna Classic" without using "Therasauna." It's not my fault a company is using a branding play on words to differentiate a product Made in USA compared to another one of their models made in China. I believe the marketing material to be confusing and a bait and switch play on words and the Therasauna brand, but apparently some models are made in the United States. After reviewing the letter provided by Therasauna, it's still difficult to understand, especially since the very sauna Therasauna claims is not "Made In The USA" is carrying the seal for it.. Now you have the information, some Therasaunas are made in the USA, some are not. You can now make your own informed decisions. Good times. https://youtu.be/x6GaaPyNUbM
